How are you different from other commercial cleaning companies?
The difference comes with our attitude towards the customer and our standard of performance. Having been in this business in Nashville for more than 20 years we can apply that experience so that the customer feels a lot less hassle. There will always be issues but our Account Managers take immediate control of the situation thus resolving the matter in a professional manner.
How do you deliver consistent, high quality cleaning?
It begins with the first day of startup when we bring in a full team and do a deep clean which gets the building prepared for a higher level of existence. This is followed by a cleaning crew that has been taught the proper procedures and uses the proper materials. Our Night Manager is on call to visit the cleaners, surprise check their procedures and retrain as needed. The Account Manager visits the facility at regular intervals and performs an official inspection with feedback of praise and corrective action for the cleaners.
How much do you charge per square foot?
Our pricing is always fair to both the customer and to the company. There are many factors that influence the totally cleaning contract price. Configuration of the building (number of floors, access to elevators, dumpsters, and janitor closets), number of bathrooms, number of tenants, but mainly it is determined by the mutual agreement of the owner and the company on what needs to be done to achieve the quality they expect. In spite of all those variables and all the many types of buildings we clean the average price was about 6 cents in 2007.
Can you provide cleaning services to all our facility locations?
Many of our customer buildings are related in some way or another, perhaps by the same management company or the same owner or the same tenant in multiple buildings. Our common connection offers not only the economies of scale (lower price) but more importantly it gives uniformity of quality and less interface problems. In short, less hassle, lower price higher quality.
Will I know who has access to my facility?
Yes. We have a rigid and well defined procedure for handling of your keys and codes. Our Account Managers will be trained by you on how your security system works and exactly how your procedures are to be handled. All our workers wear GJS uniforms, have GJS identification badges and will follow your procedures. In addition, since our workers are normally in your facility when you are not, they act as an additional look out for your property. They often report suspicious activities to the Night Manager who is on call for assistance and follow up.
Does Global Janitorial Services have an emergency number in case I need it?
The beauty of it is you only have one person to call and that is your Account Manager. They know their job is 24/7 and 365.
Does Global Janitorial Services pay attention to details?
Details are exactly what we focus on. Until you've had your restroom detailed by GJS you haven't experienced the attention to detail that we provide. Next time you go to your restroom, look at the hinges..dirty? greasy? yucky?..now look at a GJS cleaned restroom. Details come behind every corner. Sure we miss some, but we are always there the next morning to make sure it was fixed.
What other services can Global Janitorial Services provide?
We are always looking for new ways to make life easier for our new and old customers. We are open to suggestions as we hope our customers are. Recently we started focusing on cleaning indoor fountains. These are typically made of marble and become unsightly with mineral buildup.
